ABOUT
Polo Pony Rescue, Inc. was founded in 2012. As of January 1, 2025, PPR has converted to a lifetime sanctuary, primarily for former polo ponies. Prior to that date, PPR functioned as a rescue that adopted out horses still able to do another job. Our emphasis has always been ensuring lifetime safety for our horses! We also work to educate the community on excellent horse care and responsible ownership to decrease the need for equine rescue in the future. We currently have horses in Littlerock, California and several boarded in Shelbyville and Lexington, Kentucky.
